Artemis is a member of KAIROS.

"Seeker 'Queen' Artemis is a master tracker, and employs a team of seekers under her command in the streets of Olympia, blended in as ordinary citizens. She works the streets and rooftops with her partner Icarus."

Artemis is currently the only example of a Seeker class. Her title indicates that she was either the first Seeker, or is simply the best within KAIROS.

After The Magician is killed by Ten, Artemis becomes the new Right Hand of the Dragon.[1]

Appearance[]

Artemis is shown with long, curly hair and brown eyes. She wears a sleek outfit, consisting of a vest like top, jeans and boots. The top of her vest on shoulders and collar appears to be made of leather, giving it an almost bolero-like appearance. The bust part of her vest is bright orange, with a triangle pattern and brown accent lines and a black undershirt. The torso of her vest is gray, with a different pattern of triangles adorning it and a zipper down the middle. There are two zipper pockets angled on each side. Around her waist, she has an orange and black belt with no visible buckle.

Her pants consist of jeans with shiny orange accents. There are bands of orange wrapped around both thighs, angled upwards on the outside of her legs. The orange parts also have the triangle pattern shown on the bust portion of her vest. Her pants pockets are accented with the same orange triangle pattern, and there are zipper pockets located above each one, and zippers located below them. She wears ankle high boots with orange soles, orange accent lines alongside the lacing, and an accent line across the toe. Artemis is also shown with plate armor on her forearms and calves. The armor is sharply angled towards her hands and feet, reminiscent of dragon scales. Finally, she wears fingerless gloves, with orange accent lines, that reach up to her forearm underneath the armor.

Relationships[]

Icarus[]

They are partners within KAIROS. A scene in Chapter 7 of Book 1 hints at them being in a romantic relationship.
